Thanks for visiting Good Land Organics™. Our farm is situated in the seaside foothills of Santa Barbara in an elevation of 650 ft having a easily warm, southern orientation. COFFEE: Yes, we’re focusing on growing coffee in California! We’ve been collaborating about this effort with Mark Gaskell from the College California Cooperative Extension. This trial is evaluating every aspect of growing coffee in California with more than twelve named varieties. We host scheduled coffee tours between your several weeks of May and September, because this period of time spans the coffee harvest season. We can accommodate private groups, minimum group size 15. If you’re interested, please call: 805-685-4189. Note: Tours have to be scheduled ahead of time as we’re not open for daily tours.

COFFEE TASTING TICKETS Can Be Bought HERE.

COFFEE TREES – retail: We’ve just launched our retail marketplace for coffee trees! Coffee creates an excellent home plant when given an average climate place to grow (also known as inside). To buy an espresso plant for your house, visit www.cacoffeegrowers.com. If you’ve got an interest in retail possibilities for the coffee shop or business, please call: 805-685-4189.

FINGER LIMES: Our more thrilling new crops is really a micro-citrus indigenous to Australia. They’re known as vegan caviar or caviar limes, since the flesh is comparable in texture but includes a distinct lime flavor. This small fruit surprises tastebuds in almost any drink and food that requires lime, and ones that do not! This fruit is within season now. If you’d like to make an order visit our store page: caviar limes.

CHERIMOYAS: We take considerable time to look after of the crop, including hands pollination. It’s the nicest fruit grown in Santa Barbara during the cold months and also the most enjoyable fresh crop to consume beyond control. The growing season with this fruit is usually between Jan – May, sometimes beginning and ending early. Regrettably, we’re getting a smaller sized crop this season as a result of more aggressive pruning we performed this past year because of the drought. Hopefully to become back pick up having a bigger crop! If you want to join our notification list, please register here.

Other fruits we’ve readily available for national shipping are for auction on our store page.

With warm regards,
Jay Ruskey and Family

Video COMMENTS:

7munkee: Don't dismiss Barry's philosophy, there is a lot to be learned about nature and ourselves in harmony.  It will lead to a longer healthier life.

HealthyLivinAlex: Barry is incredible! He's doing what more people should be doing in the world!

A Random Person: I'm trying man but I live in the United States :(

MtotheM: I recently bought a cheap plot of land on 15 Acres, i plan on building a small cabin summer home there, it was really cheap since it's really secluded in the middle of a forest and there is several miles to the nearest neighbour, but i like it that way.\n\nI'm planning on putting up a few nearly maintance free crops. thanks for this great video.

Ari L: MtotheM whered u buy

Michele Sànchez: I love your videos, living in Puerto Rico i was trying to grow regular lettuce and tomatoes and other types of vegetables without much luck, due to your videos I now have Malabar spinach, amaranth, chinese water spinach, okra, chayotes, moringa trees,I purchased longevity spinach and katuk, I also have chaya, mulberries😁. plus all that other fruits and coconuts, coffee,Surinam cherry, acerola, papaya, passion fruit, asparagus, apple trees, and a LOT of avocado trees ,jack fruit..well I am impressed! it's taken time and every day I learn more due to your videos ! THANK YOU

ladyplantenergy: Fantastic video I grow 80 different fruits on my 1/4 acre block. Some old fruit trees and some only a few months old. I have arthritis starting to form in my fingers that are hurting I'm wondering could it be citrus aggravating it?

ladyplantenergy: No i'm vegan but love chocolate but i know that makes arthritis flare up start away. I eat the citrus ripe from my trees. As i'm getting older i'm getting more allergic to foods. Like pineapple and chili. Tomato is fine.

Pam Soderstrom: +ladyplantenergy check your b12 levels, when mine are low my joints hurt and i swear all of my joints get bigger…may as well check vitamin d and folic acid too.\nI didn't know my b12 was low and everything made me sick, once I was treated I felt much better.

Kendra O: The world needs more people like Barry! :)
