The Scientific Secret of Strength and Muscle Growth

Video COMMENTS:

AbleRyder92: everyone can get a six pack. everyone can grow stronger. everyone can build the body of their dreams. dont let ''bad genetics'' stand in your way. fitness has gotten a terrible wrong focus in recent times. its all about having bigger, rounder, bulkier and overzised muscles these days. whatever happened to fitness for function, longer life and more energy? whatever happened to working out for the sake of yourself and not everyone else around you looking at you? when i started working out at about 20 years old, i already knew my focus: to live a longer, healthier life. to be strong. and to be above average, whatever reasons you have starting working out yourself, just please. dont do it to satisfy your ego and/or other people around you. there was a time when being healthy and strong was not even an option of choise. it was something you had to be to survive. we didnt even consider it working out, we considered it to be as natural as taking a shit. a part of our lives. what happened? i partually blame the steroid bodybuilding age, spewing their bro science, making the less fortunate guy feel like a weakling because he don't look the part. they talk about benching 350 like its nothing, and that its something everyone should do. the workout routines being recomended are freakin' insane. no wonder so few people work out. no wonder people who do work out, eventually quit. the fitness world of modern day makes people feel useless. they look at a steroid-pumped asshole, making it seem like this is how to look now, and if you dont your not worth jack shit. \n\nand what does it lead to? people get an unhealthy relationship to fitness. they start working out to the point of overtraining. they make it counter productive. they get sick. some turn to steroids in desperate attempt to sattisfy the norm. some people take it to the point where they DIE. fitness and health should be about YOU. it should be about making YOU feel better. not the idiot next to you, and certanly not the idiots on the front page of fitness magazines, because that shit aint even legit. there is no such thing as bad genetics. there's no such thing as a bad student. only a bad teacher. you shouldnt feel like an idiot going to the gym, you shouldnt feel burned out every time leaving the gym, you shouldnt look at yourself in the mirror and think your doing a terrible job. fitness should be fun! it should be energetic, it should be HEALTHY! it should make you feel better every day! some people i asked say they used to train. i say why did you quit? because they burned themselves out. they ''failed'', in their way, to look a certain way. the guy next to him told him he sucked, or said something like: yeah you'll never look like that, so why are you even trying? \n\nfocus should be on creating a healthy relationship to working out. if we do that, more people will go to the gym. if your one of the few who actually took the time to read this, thank you. and maybe help spread the word. next time you go to the gym and see someone struggle. go help them out. give them advice. let them know, that they are good enough. you are all good enough. \n\nthank you for reading. have a great day.

Artorias: The Key To Power\n\nBy doing 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats and 10 kilometers of running every day, then eating healthy and never using an air conditioner be it summer or winter to strengthen one's mental fortitude.\nTrue power of humanity is not messing around with evolution, but their ability to change themselves on their own.\nOnly then you can achieve God like strength.\n\n~Saitama~

Arnes111: this comments section is hilarious. people refusing to workout because they realized that each body has their own limit. but what you retards don't seem to realize is that you're nowhere CLOSE to reaching your muscular plateau, it takes YEARS to achieve your maximum fitness no matter your myostatin levels. something that 99% of you are incapable of doing because you're spineless and lazy.\nnow stop making excuses and go back to eating your junk food, nobody wants to hear them.

WorldGoneMad: lol you forgot to tell your viewers that it takes about a decade of proper training and diet to achieve your genetic limits… and thats assuming you're eating and training at the most optimal level.. dont ever get discourage by your genetics… you dont know what they are until you act. go all the way.

pvtrichardsonbr: Saying your body has limits is not an excuse to not try and reach them and surpass them.

Pika Batman: You may not be able to punch like Superman, but you could punch like Batman

Nolan Richardson: For those who think this is unfair, you also have to remember that as your muscle mass increases, your heart does not.  People with a severe lack of Myostatin also have intense heart problems and barely ever live past 35.\n\nIts a game of give and take.

TruongBrah: do a video on steroids

Rob Lena: Nice to see youtube science shows promoting each other.

R. Robin: I know many genetically skinny people who find it hard to gain muscle mass actually can get big and ripped with the right training and recovery. Don't let this video or genetics stop you because even if you're naturally thin or fat looking like a model is possible AND realistic for normal people. I follow a program called Athlean X. I am not a sponsor for the program but it puts the science back in training and the coach is a very reputable trainer. 10/10 highly recommend!
